SoldAbout the watch: Patek Philippe launched reference 782 in 1959 and it was produced for around five years. Reference 782 was part of the Golf collection, designed by the iconic Gilbert Albert. this watch was called the Golf watch as Patek Philippe designed it to be attached to golf bags for golfers. This watch came from the original owner, in 1965 the watch case, Dial, hands and the crown were replaced by Patek Germany, gladly he kept the receipt. Will be included with the watch. Also, there is another receipt for the chain will be included. (The chain was lost long time ago). Case and Bracelet: 40mm, Great condition case. Crisp and sharp as you can see in the pictures. The case retains strong factory proportions with crisp lines, sharp edges, and well-preserve. Both the serial and reference numbers remain clearly visible between the lugs, confirming the watch’s originality and excellent preservation.Dial and Hands The dial is completely original and untouched, displaying natural aging with a soft even patina. The “Officially Certified Chronometer” text remains crisp, and all gilt triangular markers are intact. The Rolex coronet at 12 o’clock is applied and perfectly aligned. The original dauphine hands and central sweep seconds hand are correct for this reference, showing consistent aging.Movement and Service The watch houses the automatic Rolex caliber 645, known for its reliability and precision. It has been fully serviced by our master watchmaker: the movement was completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted for accurate timekeeping. It is performing beautifully and ready for daily wear or display.Strap and Accessories This example was originally fitted with a leather strap and matching Rolex gold buckle, both of which are preserved. For wearability, we have added a new Italian made premium leather strap from Milano Straps. The original strap, though in worn condition, is included for authenticity.Condition and Provenance This reference 6085 is remarkably well-preserved and appears unpolished, with all factory lines intact. SoldAbout the watch: The reference 6429 was sold only in the United States, and only through two channels: U.S. military bases comes with blank dial without “Commando” at 6 o’clock and Abercrombie & Fitch with “Commando” printed in the dial. the Commando was produced for just a year or two in the late 1960s or 1970, this makes it an extremely rare model. Only handful known with blank dial. The Commando features an Oyster case measuring 34mm in diameter. What makes the Commando so attractive is its matte black “Explorer” dial, featuring the 3-6-9. With a manual movement ticking inside, the Commando sits slimmer on the wrist than most other Rolex sports models. It is powered by the manual wind caliber 1225. Case and Bracelet: Unpolished good condition case. Has scratches and small ding in one of the lugs from normal wear. All the serial & model number are visible on the case. original Rolex bracelet with the correct end links stamped 71 in good condition. Dial: Great condition dial.
