1973 Rolex 3833 King Faisal Saudi Arabia New Old Stock Full Set
$20,500.00
An extraordinary opportunity to acquire one of the rarest and most historically significant Rolex presentation watches ever produced. This Rolex Ref. 3833 from 1973 is a genuine New Old Stock example, preserved in remarkable, unworn condition for over five decades.
Commissioned during the reign of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who ruled the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1964 until 1975, these watches were presented to visiting diplomats, heads of state, and distinguished guests as a symbol of appreciation and friendship. Because King Faisal’s reign lasted only a little over a decade, examples bearing his name are considered the rarest and most desirable of all Saudi Royal presentation Rolex watches, far scarcer than the later King Khalid and King Fahd versions.
Crafted in solid 18k yellow gold, the dial proudly displays King Faisal’s signature together with the Royal Saudi emblem. The watch is fitted with its original black Rolex alligator leather strap and original Rolex gold buckle, exactly as delivered.
The completeness of this set is simply exceptional. It includes the original Rolex presentation box featuring the Saudi Royal emblem on both the exterior and interior, the original warranty papers, the original document holder, both original hang tags, and the original case back sticker. The sticker remains intact and was only carefully lifted on one edge to verify the serial number, which matches the original warranty papers perfectly.
In more than a decade of collecting and handling vintage Rolex watches, I have never encountered another King Faisal example in this level of preservation and completeness. Finding one is rare; finding a genuine New Old Stock full set is on another level entirely.
This is far more than a collectible Rolex. it is a museum-quality historical artifact that represents the intersection of Rolex craftsmanship and Saudi royal history. Additional provenance regarding the watch’s history and acquisition will be shared privately with its next owner.
