1968 Rolex 1002 Coca Cola 14K Gold Award Watch Full Set Double Punched Papers
A special piece of Rolex and American corporate history. This is a beautifully preserved Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 1002 in solid 14k yellow gold made in 1968 and part of the legendary Coca Cola service award program. In the late 1960s Coca Cola ordered a limited number of Rolex watches with custom engraved casebacks including this model as a reward for employees who completed 25 years of service.
This example is in very nice condition. The case has been polished in the past but remains well defined and attractive. The dial and hands are completely original and clean. The caseback features the rare Coca Cola 25 years service engraving which is still sharp and visible.
The watch comes as a full collector’s set including the original Rolex box with the employee’s name printed on it double punched papers original Rolex guarantee booklet chronometer certificate red and green Rolex hang tags original 14k gold Rolex buckle and period documentation including service records. It has been recently serviced by us and is running accurately.
The strap is aftermarket but made by the same supplier that produced leather straps for Rolex in this period. It is in mint condition and completes the vintage look perfectly.
These Coca Cola presentation watches are extremely hard to find especially with full documentation and all original parts. This is a fantastic opportunity to own a historically significant Rolex with a true American story and strong collector value.
