1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1008 Zephyr Dial New Old Stock Condition Complete Full Set Original Receipt
$13,750.00
Offered here is an exceptionally preserved one owner 1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 1008 featuring the highly sought-after original Zephyr dial. Distinguished by its elegant crosshair design and paired with the iconic engine-turned 14K yellow gold bezel, the Zephyr is one of Rolex’s most distinctive and collectible dress dials of the 1960s. This watch remains in true New Old Stock (NOS) condition, showing only the slightest hairline handling marks from careful storage over nearly six decades. The original dial is virtually flawless, with crisp printing, beautiful even coloration, and no visible edge wear or restoration. It retains its original hands, original Rolex winding crown, original engine-turned 14K yellow gold bezel, and its original steel and 14K yellow gold Oyster bracelet, which remains in outstanding mint condition. Finding a Ref. 1008 preserved to this standard is exceptionally rare.
What truly elevates this example is its extraordinary completeness. It is accompanied by its original Rolex presentation box, original punched warranty certificate, original red chronometer seal, original Oyster Perpetual booklet, original plastic document holder, original period-correct hang tag, and the two original bracelet links removed by the original owner. Also included is the original sales receipt from Casa Venegas Jewelers in the U.S. Virgin Islands, dated 1967, documenting the original retail price of just $195. The same Casa Venegas stamp appears on both the original Rolex warranty certificate and the original sales invoice, providing exceptional documented provenance. Collector-grade examples of the Rolex Zephyr are scarce, and finding one in true New Old Stock condition with its complete original accessories, documentation, and original purchase receipt is an opportunity that seldom presents itself.
Please Note (Especially for New Collectors)
Before placing your order, please remember that most of our watches are authentic vintage timepieces from the 1920s–1990s. Although every watch is carefully serviced, we preserve as many original movement components as possible to maintain its authenticity. Because of this, vintage mechanical watches will not keep time as precisely as modern watches, and small daily time variations are completely normal.
If your priority is perfect timekeeping, we recommend purchasing a modern watch instead. Vintage watches are meant to be appreciated for their history, craftsmanship, originality, and character. not absolute accuracy.
