1953 Rolex Oyster Royal 6244 with Rare Honeycomb Dial and Arrowhead Markers

This is a truly special vintage Rolex that stands out with its rare and unusual dial configuration. A reference 6244 from 1953, housed in a 31mm stainless steel case and powered by a manual wind Rolex movement. The dial features a beautiful honeycomb texture with bold triangle and arrowhead markers that give it a unique character.

This dial came in two versions, one with rhodium accents and one without. This example is the rarer non-rhodium version, and even the hands match perfectly with no rhodium applied. The dial has aged naturally over time and now shows a warm patina that enhances its vintage charm.

The watch was fully serviced by Rolex in 2010 and was recently serviced again in-house. It is running perfectly and ready to wear. The original hands, crown, and dial remain untouched. The reference and serial numbers are still sharp and visible between the lugs. It comes on its original Rolex bracelet, which is in excellent condition for its age, and is offered with an original Rolex box and the Rolex Service documents.

Collectors will appreciate how rare this dial configuration is, especially in such a clean and complete example. It is a beautiful and honest piece that captures the essence of 1950s Rolex design and craftsmanship.
