About the watch: The Patek Philippe reference 600 was Introduced in 1933 and run for over three decades. This example is from the 1940, s. Was owned by a Texas American Football NFL player, Kenneth Gene Jackson AKA “The tall Texan” (April 26, 1929 – January 28, 1998) was an American football offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). A native of Austin, Texas, Jackson played college football at the University of Texas and then pro football for seven seasons for the Dallas Texans, The Baltimore Colts and Montreal Alouettes.
Case: A Large size case 44.5mm, the 50’s models was 43,5mm. Upper to be unpolished in very great shape, Crisp and sharp as you can see in the pictures. It shows wear from normal use, but it is great for almost eighty years old pocket watch. The serial number and the gold stamp still intact. The case back engraved “Kenneth G Jackson”.
Dial: Silver dial in good condition, shows some wear and there is a tiny scratch at 10 o’clock. some of the gold index got a beautiful gold patina on them.
Movement: Caliber 17-21mechanic manual winding movement. Stamped with Geneva Seal. Has been serviced.
