One owner watch! A particularly beautiful and well-preserved 2001 Rolex Datejust ref. 16233, featuring the classic combination of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, fitted with its original Rolex Oyster bracelet.

About the Watch : 

What makes this example especially interesting is its silver two-tone dial. Unlike the champagne-colored dials most commonly seen on the 16233, this silver dial beautifully matches the stainless-steel portion of the case while complementing the 18k yellow-gold fluted bezel and bracelet center links. The combination is exceptionally elegant and, in my opinion, one of the most attractive configurations of the reference.

Complete Collector Set:

This watch was sold by an American authorized Rolex dealer in February 2002 and comes with an excellent original set, including the original Rolex certificate, Cloth, booklets, Red Rolex tag, Green serial number tag and inner and outer boxes. The original sticker is still present on the case back. The dial color specification is also documented on the original paperwork, which is an excellent detail supporting that the dial is original to the watch and has not been subsequently exchanged. Small details such as this can make a complete, well documented example especially interesting to collectors over time.

Condition:

The watch is in very nice original condition, it shows very light wear to it age, with its full-links length Oyster bracelet and no noticeable stretch. The original crystal is exceptionally clean and free of scratches. The watch has also been recently serviced by us and it works as it should. 

We have photographed the watch extensively using macro photography to show its condition as accurately as possible. The magnified photographs reveal even extremely fine hairline marks that are considerably less noticeable when viewing the watch normally in person. These are the type of very fine surface marks that can occur within the first few weeks of wearing or handling a new watch.

The inner Rolex box is in very nice condition, while the outer box shows some age-related wear consistent with its vintage.
