First luxury sports watch introduced to the market for its design and size – designed by Gerald Genta who also designed Patek Philippe’s Nautilus and many other successful luxury watches. 39mm case diameter, ultra thin case only 7mm with AP Cal. 2121/1 Automatic self winding movement only 3mm thick with a 21k gold winding rotor. Back case # B20xxx which is an earlier production of these Royal Oak watches.It has been claimed AP only manufactured around 1000 pcs all together of this model.
